What forms of payment does Honest.com accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay,  PayPal, and Honest Baby Clothing gift cards.

I received an error message when trying to checkout. What do I do now?

Please verify that the billing information you have entered is the same as the information your bank has on file. If the billing information entered varies from what your bank has on file, then your order will not go through.

You may also receive an error message if you have not completed a mandatory field.

Can I cancel or change my order when it’s processing?

If you have placed an order on our website, our Customer Service team is available to help you change your shipping address or cancel your order, if requested by phone, within an hour of placing it.

Please note that our customer service team is unable to make any changes to your order after an hour of it being placed. At this point, our warehouse is preparing your order.

When will my card be charged?

Your card will be charged when you place an order.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax varies depending on where you live and what items you purchase. We take these into account when figuring out the amount of tax charged on an order.

Do you have a Referral Program?

At this time, we are no longer offering our Referral Program. Stay tuned for updates to our Referral Program in the coming months.

Why is the Honest Company and the Honest Baby Clothing separate websites?

The Honest Company and Honest Baby Clothing are separate websites because they are different companies, but both are the Jessica Alba brand you know and love. Honest Baby Clothing is operated by us, Jessica's trusted partners, the leading experts in the creation of organic baby clothing.

Why can’t I put Honest.com products such as diapers and creams in the same cart as baby clothing?

The Honest Company and Honest Baby Clothing are separate websites, because they are separate companies, but both are the creation of Jessica Alba. So the baby clothing goes into a separate cart and unfortunately can not be combined into a cart on honest.com.

I want to send my order as a gift but I don’t see that option on honestbabyclothing.com? How can I make this happen?

Not a problem! We are currently working hard to implement this feature. In the short term, please email care@honestbabyclothing.com with the personalized gift message you’d like to be included and we will gift wrap complimentary and include your personalized message along with a gift receipt.

My coupon code is not working. How come?

There could be a few reasons.

  • Code may have expired
  • Code may be a one-time use
  • Code may not have been generated by Honest Baby Clothing. It may only be redeemable at honest.com

Most Bath and Bedding products are one size fits all - easy :)

Our clothing size chart is a great place to find the right fit for your little one! Due to the unique body shape of each child, their size may differ from the sizing listed on the chart below, but it’s a good place to start. What are your products made of?

All Honest Baby Clothing products are made with organic cotton and are 100% certified. Some of our products, like leggings and accessories, are blended with a stretchy material called elastane for an extra cozy snug fit.

What is the GOTS certification?

GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).  GOTS is the leading world-wide standard that ensures no harmful synthetic chemicals are used to grow and process cotton and textiles.  It ensures we are providing you with the best possible products for your babies. 

All of our products are produced with organic cotton and are 100% GOTS certified, made without the use of synthetic pesticides, are non-toxic and PVC free, made without heavy metal and phthalate dyes, and are made in sustainable manufacturing facilities. This means our products meet the very highest environmental standards and have less of a harmful impact on the planet. It is our goal to leave the  earth in a better place for our children.

Do you use flame retardants?

No. None of our products are treated with flame retardants!

Where are your products made?

Our products are sourced around the world at the leading sustainable facilities with like-minded organizations that produce the highest quality products with the least possible impact on the environment.

One of our factories is powered entirely by its own wind mills. They are a “carbon neutral” factory  and are continuing their sustainable efforts in order to go “carbon negative” in the next few years.

Return Policy

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on all items that are unworn, unused, unwashed, have the original tags and packaging, and are within 90 days of when the original order was placed. Learn more about our return policy here.

    How do I return an item?

    Are returns accepted if my order is shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, APO/FPO?

    We do not accept returns from Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and APO/FPO addresses.

    When will I see my refund?

    After we receive your return at the warehouse, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be posted to your original payment method.

    How will my money be returned to me?

    Credit / Debit Cards / PayPal: If you paid with a credit or debit card, your refund will be issued back to your card.  If you paid via PayPal, your refund will be issued back to the applicable account. The time it will take for your refund to post to your bank account, PayPal account, or credit card will vary.

    Honest Baby Clothing Gift Card or Honest Baby Clothing Store Credit: If you paid with an HonestBabyClothing.com gift card or HonestBabyClothing.com store credit, you will receive the money back as HonestBabyClothing.com store credit. Your HonestBabyClothing.com store credit will go back into your HonestBabyClothing.com account.

    Can I return an Honest product purchased at a retail location through HonestBabyClothing.com?

    We only accept returns for eligible products purchased on HonestBabyClothing.com. We have great relationships with our retailer partners and if you would like to return a product purchased from one of our retailers, please contact them directly for assistance and information regarding their return policy.

    Does honestbabyclothing.com have a gift registry?

    At the moment we do not have a gift registry, but don’t worry! Our team is currently working on implementing that feature. To be alerted when we launch our gift registry, new style launches, coupons and more, please join our community at honestbabyclothing.com. You can sign up near the bottom of our website.

     

    Shipping & Delivery

    How do I track my order?

    Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to ship due to processing time.

    Additionally, you can also track, re-route and even have FedEx hold your shipments for up to 2 weeks by logging on to FedEx Delivery Manager. Click here to sign up.

    How much does shipping cost?

    We offer free shipping on orders totaling $75 or more. Free shipping is not available to Hawaii, Alaska or US Territories.  All other shipping costs will be messaged during the checkout process if applicable. Please note that if you’d like to receive your order sooner, you can select expedited shipping. Increased shipping costs will be applied at checkout for this service. Order totals are calculated after all sales or promotions are applied and exclude all sales tax & shipping charges.

    When will my order be processed?

    All orders are processed within approximately 1 to 3 business days after the order is placed.

    Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed within 1 to 3 business days, Monday through Friday.

    Please remember that orders cannot be edited once processing begins. All processing times are estimates and may be subject to change.

    Where do you ship?

    We ship to all 50 US States, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, and Canada. We do not ship to any other US territories, mail-forwarding or freight-forwarding services, or PO Boxes. Any restrictions will be messaged during the checkout process if applicable.

    How can I edit my shipping address?

    All shipping address changes can be made in the My Account section. You will have the option to select a new default shipping address or add an additional address.

    What shipping couriers do you use?

    We use FedEx ground, express, and SmartPost. SmartPost is an efficient way of shipping packages to the entirety of the United States and its territories. FedEx SmartPost works in tandem with the USPS as the package will ultimately  be delivered by your mail carrier. Once arrived at the proper hubs, packages are handed off to the USPS or other appropriate final delivery service. Because the packages are USPS mail once in transit the timeframe or address cannot be changed.

    When will I receive my order?

    Orders with overnight and 2-day shipping that are placed on a weekday (excludes weekends and holidays) before 12pm PT / 3pm ET will be shipped the same business day. Ground and SmartPost will be processed and shipped to be received using the grid below.  Note, SmartPost shipments can take up to 10-12 business days and will ultimately be delivered by the USPS. 

    Please note we do not guarantee any delivery that has incorrect shipping address information or is not delivered on time due to severe weather or acts of nature that delay the carrier.  Shipping rates are based on method, total weight, and destination from our shipping facility in Denver, CO.

    How can I change the shipping speed of my order?

    I tracked my package via Fedex and it says it was delivered, but I do not have it. What should I do?

    Call Fedex at 1.800.463.3339 and put in a claim.
